Abstract and Poster Information
The poster sessions will be held on Monday, August 16th at 3:30-4:30 PM EST, and Tuesday, August 17th at 3-4 PM EST. Poster presenters must be registered and presenter must be attending the session online at these times.
Poster titles and abstracts are due June 15th and should be submitted to _________
Your finalized poster and video content will be DUE at 5 p.m. EDT on July 15, 2021. Late submissions will not be accepted. Posters will be sent as PDF files. Additional details regarding the poster submission process will follow shortly.
You are allotted and expected to pre-record a 2 minute video to speak about your poster and 2 minutes to answer questions in small poster rooms (10 – 12 posters) in your assigned time slot. There will be multiple concurrent “poster rooms” during each of the poster sessions.
Only your poster will be shown by the moderator during your 2-minute video and 2-minute question period. Thus, the figures and text must be large enough to easily view on one PDF slide (the moderator will not zoom in or out). A recommended poster size is 60 – 70 cm high and 110 – 120 cm wide. However, you will not be judged upon the size of your poster.
Judges will be present in each of the poster rooms. Posters will be evaluated in advance to the poster competition (hence the due date is early). The poster competition will also consider your presentation and ability to answer questions.
Further instructions will be sent by e-mail to all students planning to submit a poster, so it’s important that you check the box during the registration process that you are considering presenting a poster at the annual meeting.

All poster sessions must download and use the pre-formatted template for their abstracts. Simply replace the bracketed text with your text. Do not alter font size or type.
When done, save the file as YourName-abstract.doc or .docx and submit the abstract electronically using the Submit Abstract button below. Abstracts submitted by email will not be accepted.
Abstracts will be accepted until June 15, 2021.
Posters will be displayed for the entire conference. Presenting authors will be expected to be available at their posters during scheduled display times when presenting authors will have the opportunity to engage with attendees and answer questions. Posters presented by graduate students will participate in a poster competition. Poster height and width restrictions will be provided at a later date. Please check back for updates or contact us
